The stock turbo on the G16E-GTS in the GR Corolla/Yaris is an impressive unit that provides very punchy low-end torque and is enough to squeeze about 330hp out of the little 1.6L engine on ethanol. However, you may one day yearn for more, especially after racing your friend's Golf R. To address that inevitablity, we present you with our solution. The STR64 Turbo is designed to perserve the response that gives the G16E its character while adding significant top end flow and hoursepower.
The STR64 turbo sizing puts these cars right at the sweet spot for the ultimate street/track GR Corolla/Yaris. The turbo specs are as follows, compared to stock.

This turbo is what a G25-600 would be if Garrett made one for this engine. We felt a G25-550 would not meet our top end power goals, and the G25-660 would introduce too much lag.
