We have noticed that on higher horsepower builds, backpressure tends to open the wastegate on the Precision turbos in the upper RPMs dropping boost. To avoid this, we recommend installing this twin port wastegate actuator.

Clevis Pin and Preload

The dual port actuator does not come with a clevis pin to attach to the wastegate door/flapper. The NX2 turbo clevis pin does not fit dual port actuator. We are offering as an option to purchase a turbosmart clevis pin that does work. You may have to shorten the wastegate rod to achieve the desired 2-3mm preload when installing on the turbo.
