The Most Comprehensive Tuning Experience. Our remote custom tuning services are where we distill our knowledge to help make your GR perform better, drive better, and be more resilient when pushed hard. With an engineering background, years of experience tuning, and the help of EcuTek we are able to offer a comprehensive tuning service for your G16E-GTS powered hot hatch.

Tuning Process:

1. Once you purchase your tune you will receive a link to an online tuning form.
2. With EcuTek Flashing Dongle plugged in connect to the car using the ECU Connect Phone app
3. Select Stratified Automotive Controls as your tuner.
4. Submit vehicle information.
5. Once the above is complete we will build an intial basemap for your GR which will be sent directly to your ECU Connect app. Please allow 1-5 business days for the basemap to be built.
6. Flash the tune to your vehicle, take logs as per our instructions, send them via the ECU Connect app, and enjoy the car until the next revision.

The Details - What you get as part of your ProTune Package:

• A one-on-one Professional Tuner with hundreds if not thousands of hours of experience on the GR Corolla/Yaris platform whom you can contact via e-mail or phone.
• A tune that is refined specifically for your car, your modifications, your gas quality, and your goals.
• You and the tuner share maps, data logs, and you provide feedback to your tuner on how you'd like the car to drive, address issues of concern, and work toward your power, safety, and driveability goals.
• The tuner will send you new maps that you flash on the vehicle and then send datalogs as well as feedback on how the car drives and runs.
• Remember that your tuner has a lot of experience so if something doesn't look right or if issues pop up, they will be able to pick these out and alert you as well as offer possible solutions.
• Your tuner can also recommend parts and modifications that will help you achieve your desired goals if changes need to be made to your car's current setup. We can supply pretty much any parts for the vehicles we support and tune.

This process goes on until you or the tuner are satisfied with the results. A standard bolt-on tune usually involves 4-6 iterations but this can vary from car to car. Each option you add (secondary maps) adds to the number of iterations. Our goal is to respond to your datalogs/questions within 3-8 business days. Sometimes we get very busy (and you may get busy) so we have a 6 month period for completing the tune removing the stress in case you need to take a break, something needs fixing, or your tuner is away for a few days. We are driven and passionate about achieving excellent results for your tune. Due to this, every map iteration during the tuning process will be carefully built to be driveable and safe while building up to the final product. How EcuTek Flash Tuning Works

• ECU Connect Device and Phone Flash: EcuTek Flashes the ECU via the ECU Connect dongle. This dongle plugs into your OBD port and uses BlueTooth to allow you to flash the car, live view parameters, check CELs, and datalog. This is done via an app on your phone. We send you the tunes via this app and you send us the datalogs via the same app.
• Vehicle License: EcuTek Licenses each ECU that we want to tune. So if your ECU is already licensed, all you need to do is purchase a tune. Otherwise, you need a license. The license is a one-time purchase for that particular ECU.

TL DR: If you are a remote tune customer and have never flashed via EcuTek you will need the ECU Connect Device and a Vehicle License. The Phone Flash fee is built into the tune price as it is always required.
