I'm happy with my ProTune. Both of them. The 93-octane and E30 variants.

The process was long for me. Alex, the tuner, had to work out ways to compensate for little drivability issues that were unique to my car which took many revisions, sometimes with long waits between them. But because the value of what I got feels so high, I don’t complain about the sometimes-long wait between those revisions. It's not like I was ever left with an undrivable tune - every revision was safe and good to drive on while I waited.

And from the very first iteration of the tune, it was fast.

When I got the Accessport, I tried the off-the-shelf COBB tune (Stage 1, 93-octane, High-Boost) that came with it, and it scared me. I was scared because it was slower than the JB4 piggyback tune I had just sold to buy the Stratified ProTune, and I was worried that the ProTune would be slower than the JB4 also.

Not so! The first iteration of the ProTune was three-quarters of a second faster than the Cobb tune, just through third gear (timed from 35-75 MPH in 3rd gear, starting WOT at 20 MPH).

I'm more enthusiastic and picky than most people about this stuff, which frankly stops me before recommending most products. Alex never made a mistake or did anything I felt was dangerous to the car. The car runs well and goes real fast. So I recommend Stratified, and Alex too.

just had my rs tuned by Jared and I cant say enough how awsome the car is now. It's like a whole new car you feel the power increase right away. Would highly reccomend to anyone looking to get their car tuned.

I have a 2013 golf gti coupe that i had bought a tune for. The difference between the COBB OTS tune VS the custom Stratified tune is amazing! My car doesnt even feel like my car at anymore. Its like a whole nother animal.
The customer service is 100% outstanding and more than helpful.
I am super pleased with this company and the way they have helped me and my car. I cannot say enough good things about Stratified!

I had the pleasure of working with Jared during the tuning process and was completely satisfied. For reference, my tune is a Stage 1 using 93 octane and the driving characteristics are perfect. It maintained the nice daily driving comforts down low, but now my car pulls hard when you step on it.

Now what I want to mention here are the benefits from getting a Stratified ProTune vs the other guys that we all compare numbers and reliability to. That was a choice I struggled with when choosing a tuner. Using Stratified instilled such a high level of confidence because I could communicate my wants/needs/concerns, actually see progression in the tune in each revision from the data and monitor knock, temps and boost through the Accessport.

One thing to note is that this isn't a "one size fits all tune" and there is a process to reach your goals. It takes a little bit of time (I believe Jared and I went through 7 revisions before we decided it was complete,) but you get a tune custom tailored to your car's quirks. I cant stress enough how beneficial this is. And if you see something you don't like (I had a little bit of knock in cylinder 2) you can reach out and discuss solutions/adjust the tune in the next revision.

Another benefit is the ability to switch off the tune if you need to. Going on a road trip and cant get 93? In less than 5 minutes your worries are gone. No need to carry a laptop or find a dealer to change. Active monitoring and ability to change maps is worth every single penny.

If your debating between the other guys and Stratified, get Stratified. You will not be disappointed.

I had the pleasure of working with Nolan on my custom tuning for my hydro Turbo on 91 with mild crackles and pops. Pretty straight forward process of uploading maps and datalogging. Was pleased with every map and stronger pulls to the end! Communication is key durung the whole process and the Team was very helpful in addressing/correcting any tuning concerns. I highly recommend! Love those crackles!

The protune through stratified was a great experience. Alex was very helpful and insightful. The improvements to the car exceeded my expectations, the turbo lag from the factory is dramatically improved as is overall driveability. Would highly recommend this service!
