Went from COBB OTS stage 1 to Stratified Stage 1 OTS +, then to a tweaked Cobb OTS stage 2 to, to stratified flash tune stage 2, and car pulls much stronger and smoother than the CObb ots stage 2. Love the car now, this map eats tyres :)

I have been working with Mike from Stratified since late Feburary on 2 different tunes. The first tune was a 91 octane custom tune, the second an e-85 tune. Let me begin with my mod list, cxracing fmic, autotech hpfp internals, UR turbo back catless exhaust, CS SRI, NGK 1 step colder plugs, Cobb AP V2, Synapsis BPV and JBR RMM.

My car always felt fast but was never really smooth, always felt "Raw." Mike changed that immediately. The idle improved and the power delivery was more consistent. Through the process Mike took my car from a beast from 3000-5000 rpms to a freight train that just keeps pulling. It never seems to falter, constantly pulling all the way to redline. Torque is abundant and willing the break the tires loose, my sticky Michelin PSS, in 1-3 gears.

What is so great about what Mike did was how much smoother he made the car all around. Before,if not driven perfectly it was like being in a rodeo, now the throttle in more forgiving and less temperamental. During the process we had 2 issues come up, a boost leak and somewhat of a misfire. The first, Mike noticed something in one of the logs and immediately diagnosed the problem, leaking bpv. He suggested the Synapsis BPV and arranged it getting sent through Stratified at a great price. Problem, solved. The second issue occurred during a trip. I told Mike the symptoms and sent him a log, boom suggested I pull the plugs and inspect. Problem solved, drove through rain storm water made it past cylinder 1 coil. Problem solved.

While the tune was great and worth the $ alone, the knowledge Mike passed on was worth even more. I don't frequent the forums often, there is ALOT of bad info on there, so it was refreshing being able to get a straight forward, correct answer. He gave advice on future mods, helped correct drive-ability issues, and explained what I should look for in the future to monitor my vehicle performance. He would make changes to the maps and requests logs. I would send the logs back and with in a day or so, sometimes a few hours he would have the new map sent and the process would continue.

I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and will be continuing my tuning experience with meth and a BT, via Mike.

Mike is the man. He took care of this noob. Tune was not rushed or hurried in any way. I got a custome 91 octane tune for my 2011 Mazdaspeed 3 . As well as a tune for 94 Octane as well
Just wish the decals I ordered to represent didn't get lost in the mail. Maybe you guys should include 2 decals with every customer tune as the tune costs 250.00
Just a suggestion.

I purchased both a regular pump tune and the E85 and BT tune options and have nothing but good things to say about both processes.

Through both the 93 map revisions and then later the ethanol mix, all of my questions were promptly answered and map revision turnaround was really fast, sometimes even the same day if I sent datalogs early enough in the day.

Stan was great to work with and all of my power goals were accomplished. I'm planning on re-tuning in the near future after I build and add supplemental fueling and I'll be coming back here when I do.

The Stratified custom tune process and end result were both terrific. Alex's efforts were always guided by my tuning goals, and it was particularly gratifying to see my parts selection validated by some big numbers, superb drivability, and safety margin as evidenced in all of my datalogs. In my opinion, no one understands and tunes the ST platform better than the Stratified team. Alex's engineering background shines through in his tuning approach and drive to innovate. On top of all that, he is a very nice and comfortable person to work with. I give Alex my highest recommendation, and feel that my Stratified custom tune is a tremendous value given the effort Alex expended to perfect it!

Alex was a great tuner to work with over the course of 9 months. He provided an outstanding 91 octane map (sea level) for my 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 (Stage II). He then worked with me to delay the continuation of further tuning until I was able to move to Colorado and get settled in. Then Alex was quick to help me with getting high altitude tunes for both 91 octane as well as E85 mix. I now run the E85 tune on my Speed 3 and really notice a huge performance boost compared from when I was running the off-the-shelf Cobb maps for Stage II. Alex's flexibility and professionalism was superb and I would highly recommend using Stratified for professional tuning. I will continue to look to Stratified in the future as my needs change. Thanks so much for creating such awesome maps for me!
